Crystal Chappell is a teacher, union member, community leader, and mentor. She is seeking to represent the people of Kentucky State Senate District 6 encompassing Butler, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, and Ohio Counties and is running to make the voices of the 6th District heard, to bring common sense to Frankfort, and to be part of a government that works for every level of Kentucky society, not just the wealthy few at the top.
Crystal joined some 40 other active and retired educators who are candidates for office this election cycle for a press conference on Wednesday, January 31st in Frankfort.

Through Emerge Kentucky Crystal along with twenty-five other Democratic women from Kentucky acquired 70 hours of candidate training to prepare them to run effective and winning campaigns.
In July, Crystal joined five fellow educators from Kentucky for the “See Educators Run” training held in Dallas by the National Education Association.
